A Day In The Garden With Noctura

After being banished to the Shadow World by the Elves, Noctura spends her days off in her hidden garden. Even villains need some peace and quiet. This Lego Elves themed MOC is called “Noctura’s Garden” and is built by Kristel. The vignette has been created for the Eurobricks Flower Show. The build comes with a simple base which is a great way to make your Lego MOC displays stand out. The scene features a lovely but dangerous looking forest. Complete with a charming stone pathway. The forest is built out of a lot of black tentacle pieces, and various black flora. There are pink and dark blue leaves, mixed with teeth/thorns. A few glowing gems complete the look. The end result is a perfect fantasy forest. There is no better place to plan revenge than Noctura’s Garden.

Meet the Lego Elves, Step Through the Portal This Spring

Lego has a new theme arriving this spring called the Lego Elves. Some of the first sets have already been revealed, but the Lego marketing is just starting to take off. The official Lego site has a teaser page up, promising more details in March 2015. Meanwhile some short videos have started to appear around the internet. Featuring some beautifully animated videos, it would not be a surprise if the Lego Elves had their own cartoon (like Ninjago or Legends of Chima). Interestingly, there is very little Lego in these first videos.

The Lego Elves look like they would fit right in with the Disney Fairies. Seeing as Lego has been creating Disney themed Friends sets, it would be interesting if the Fairies line had a release too. There are four main Elves (Aira, Naida, Azari, and Farran) with this release, and one main human (named Emily Jones).

Lego Elves: A Friendly New Theme for 2015

Lego has a new theme in the works, titled Lego Elves. It is a mix of 1/3 Lego Friends, 1/3 Lego Disney Princess, and 1/3 Disney Fairies. The upcoming theme has had 4 of its sets officially revealed. There are still two more coming. If you look around you can find preliminary images for all of the these sets, including Box artwork. Check back here for more official artwork as it is revealed.

The new theme will include the following sets:

Aira’s Creative Workshop (41071)
Naida’s Spa Secret (41072)
Naida’s Epic Adventure Ship (41073)
Azari & The Magic Bakery (41074)
Treetop Hideaway (41075)
Fairan & The Crystal Hollow (41076)

It looks like these new sets will feature some new elements, and new color options of existing pieces. Lego Elves will be released in 2015.

Fairan & The Crystal Hollow (41076) will include a Male figure, some nifty transparent pieces, a green key, and a cute woodland animal.

Aira’s Creative Workshop (41071) will include a flying machine, workbench, and a small aviary.

Naida’s Spa Secret (41072) gets a purple dolphin (?), a book, and other relaxing accessories.

Naida’s Epic Adventure Ship (41073) will include a sleek ship, a white clam, two gold clams, and a beautiful sail.
